CHEVY, PLAYER ONE
Due to the demographic perception of Snapchat, it is not usually thought of as a place to advertise vehicles. So, when we received word that we needed to fill an ad buy on Snapchat for the Chevy SUV family, we knew we needed to rise to the occasion to capture the attention of the everyday user of the off-beat platform. We created a content series that appealed to the nostalgic trends of modern day social media users by developing playful videos that mimicked the look and feel of 8-bit video games. Each of the eight unique games revolved around a single feature used to differentiate that SUV from others and also one that spoke to the demographic who might want to considering purchasing it.
The Ask: Highlight the benefits of the Chevy SUV family for a Snapchat ad buy.
