ANIMAL CROSSING CORVETTE HAVEN
On March 20, Nintendo released Animal Crossing New Horizons, and due to the pandemic, became the biggest single game launch in Nintendo Switch history. As an added bonus, the game was open to brand engagement without a formal partnership. Wanting to be a part of the conversation, we quickly created and released a series of Corvette-themed items for players to download and add to their virtual world. The items were made available via Pinterest, a popular place for Animal Crossing content, and promoted across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

RESULTS
The video was a huge hit with three times the number of views compared to the average view count on Chevy’s Facebook page. On Twitter the video also over performed receiving twice as many views as the average number on Chevy’s page.
Additionally, as the first automotive brand to utilize the Animal Crossing platform, we received a number of earned media coverage crediting our team with creativity and the nimble pace required to create the items and the content.
